Marvin Oscar Schramm, born on March 12, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio, to Thelma (Cole) and Charles Earl Schramm, passed away at age 83 on January 28, 2019 in Maumee, Ohio. Marvin attended DeVillbiss High School. He worked in the food supply chain industry including management at A&P, co-owner of Village Market in Holland and retired in January 2000 after working for Nickles Bakery for 25 years. Marvin was the loving husband of Jeanette Lois Tapley for 62 years. Marvin is survived by his son, Mark (Linda); daughters, Diane (Rusty) Irons and Debra (Kenneth d.) Sear; brother, Bernard (Eleanor d.); grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda), Heather, and Katelyn (Samuel) Bolds; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Elie, Evan, Jacob, and Phoebe. In older years, Marvin loved spending time with his family, vacationing at his lakeside cottage and going fishing… even if he wasn’t catching! His kids and grandkids will remember him for his positive spirit and servant’s heart, always ready with a goofy grin to make you smile. Donations in Marvin’s name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio are welcome and appreciated. |
